I know he has been good but I would take it and buy Templeton and Hamdi Salihi then Left wing and forward position sorted now just another cb or 2 :-)

£2 million is a joke IMO - (but so is the Daily Mail!) the kind of figure we would expect if he was nearing the end of his contract.

I've never been Sammy's biggest fan but selling him for 2 million when he still has a length left on his contract and he's finally hit some form just seems stupid? Surely an in form Samaras should command a higher fee?

I would ask for at least £3m-£3.5m.

Get rid of the players out on loan, even if it means giving them all free's.

Wigan may just be hyping, so that the fans dont feel cheated when they get a lesser cheaper player, at least we got someone, why we nearly even got Georgios..

So they might get someone worth "up to £2m"

I'd take £2m, providing it was invested in another striker. Samaras has improved a lot recently, but he's still a very inconsistent player and I wouldn't be surprised if he experiences another dip in form in the coming months. I know I'm being cynical, but feel we could bring in a better, younger striker if we offload Samaras and use the money to invest in a new signing. I like the guy and he seems like he loves the club, but wouldn't be too fussed if he leaves.

has he not still got like 3 or 4 years left on his contract? 5 million at least. even then i wouldn't be sure about selling him, he's become a very important part of our team.

I would take about 4 million for him now that he is on form for us, think he has about 3 years left on his contract aswell so make them pay for that aswell. we would need to get someone in to replace that part tho as commons aint back to form yet

i would 4 million for him right now if we are to get someone Celtic must move right away for a player and neil lennon should be the one to get this player if Sammy goes not Lawell
