Alot of rumours floating about facebook and twitter about us being offered a " big name" striker onloan for the rest of the season and lennon is working on a deal to get him here.
I first saw it on that PhilMac's twitter, does anyone know if he is reliable? and if this has any ounce of truth in it, who do you think it could be?
Probably not true, but still interesting and has livened up the window a bit.

pavlyuchenko needs game time for the euros so would make sense, although that phil mac says the striker has " achieved big things" in his career.
pav hasnt really done that.
My money is on Luca Toni or Michael Owen.
Toni is due to announce his new club on twitter so Im gonna follow him lol and he has won the world cup as a player so thats a pretty big thing.

toni was a fucking class player, big target man who can handle himself and score headers, he is 35 in may so would do til end of season unless he is super fit to get another season from him, these italians are healthy fit fockers so dont see why not.

Drogba, Kanoute, Tevez, Pavluychenko, Owen, Toni, Inzaghi, Del Piero - Players I've heard up to now. NONE will come! Wouldn't mind a bash of big Didier Drobga for the rest of the season right enough!!

it'll be some plus 6foot good in the air and powerful ala Chris Sutton, I think it may be Pav as 'arry wants rid, but it could be anybody except Tevez!

just reviewed all current forwards on fantasy footie and for me none of them really fit the bill except a couple mentioned above, which suggests as Phil said a big name "euro" striker so maybe we need to look abroad for candidates? ok Toni but who else in say italy, SPain, Holland, France, Germany fits the bill?

Nah, big part to play for Stoke, especially in Europe. Really doubt he'll leave, but I'd welcome him, great player!

3.4million? seems a bit cheap he is fucking quality. Plus there would be alot of european teams after him. He is good enough for the likes of Liverpool, Dortmund etc.
