Sky Sports understands Celtic are eyeing a move for Wolves midfielder Stephen Hunt before the transfer window slams shut.
Hunt has struggled to hold down a regular place in Mick McCarthy's starting line-up this season and the news has alerted Celtic to his possible availability.

I always rated him. Has a great left foot on him. I'd say we'd need another wide midfielder due to how slack we are going forward without Forrest.

Hunt is a worker, however he needs to be, to keep up with the more physical endowed fitba players in the EPL, in the SPL he would do good I guess, but overall I really dont rate him.

i think he would be a great player for celtic he is a good worker willing to work back and help at the back i say if we can bring him in he also needs to be playing football or he will not be going to the EUROS with Ireland he is one off there big players i heard he is also a celtic fan

I dont know this player, but if Mark Wilson is going(as suggested in the other thread), then a fresh face in the dressing room should help keep the bhoys competitive for team places.

it should but sometimes in football its better moving a player on who does not play much an un happy player could upset the dressing room it is the case at a number off clubs it could be best for all that some players get that first team football they want to get

I have seen hunt play lots of times, he works very hard has good delivery and will get stuck in. In saying that he would be a lot like broonie in terms of technique.But he would be good in the spl. But im sure if we sign him , who will they punt??
