He's scored 63 goals in 155 games and 36 of them came in one season in Bulgaria according to Wiki.

Watched 3 vids not seen a single headed goal from a guy 6'2" .....

Although if we get him for less than 2 million he'd be worth a punt.....

I personally feel we need to buy an outright target man with European history and a better CV than this.

One thing about Dembélé (although I am sure we are not seriously interested) is that he has got off his backside, and played top league football in different countries. he has been in Bulgaria, Germany etc as well as France – which IMO is a positive thing.

Contrast this attitude to the morons sitting in the english championship and league 1 who we are normally linked with. Additionally, he played for France at youth levels, and although many players don’t kick on in their development, guys who have been involved in the French national setup normally have a few key attributes – pace, strength, and good technical ability.

I agree Marm but we need a specific goal threat at Celtic as we do not have a target man who is a real threat in terms of Arial ability?
This guy looks good on the deck and is a good athlete but if we are going to sign a frontman he needs to carry this ability in his armoury otherwise we are stuck with firing in low balls and hoping for tap ins?

I vaguely remember us being linked with him this time last year or possibly even the year before. Don't really know much about him at all but this is the first I've heard of interest this year.

He seems like a decent player and a very good finisher. I also like the way hes playing in a top europeon league and hes scored 8 goals in 12 games in his only season in europe for a quite poor side. The only problem is he has only had 1 real good season and he 26, also he not the target man everybody is crying out for Celtic to buy so i think we should maybe pass on him and try to get someone a bit more proven an a bit more of an aerial threat.

Wouldn't spend more than £1m for him, doesn't look too spectacualr but we do need someone else up front.

ya we we're linked with this guy in NL's first full season. And we should stay clear as he is likely another Diawara; and Baba for that matter can't even get a game ahead of Kanoute who is at least 56 yrs old.

We need a proper forward, not a guy that look's good in youtube clips. In fact we already have one of those. No for me.

Didier Drogba was 27 before he peaked and had an average scoring record before that season at Marseille
